MEET THE SPEAKERS
Mark Sturdivant
Mark Sturdivant believes that growth is the evolution of starting, restarting or changing your mindset on an ongoing daily basis. His true call to his purpose is to, “Empower People to Strengthen Communities!” Mr. Sturdivant is a native Washingtonian. He began his academic and athletic career by attending Springbrook High School and earning a full athletic scholarship to the University of Maryland, College Park. As a student athlete, Mr. Sturdivant earned many honors: Co-Captain of the Terps, 1st team-All ECAC, 1st team All ACC, Pre-season All-American and drafted by Miami Dolphins. He has developed his own company STURDI short for his last name Sturdivant: Success, Takes, Ultimate, Resilience, Determination, & Inspiration. STURDI’s vision is to create an equitable world, where people at any age are motivated to take action, step out of their comfort zones, change mindsets and pursue their passions with unwavering determination to create meaningful impact in their lives and lives of others.
Kenneth Stewart
Kenneth Stewart is Pastor of Body of Christ Church. He currently resides in Southern Maryland with his wife of 30 years. He is the proud father of two beautiful daughters and grandfather of an adorable 5 year old granddaughter. Pastor Stewart is committed to building a spiritual legacy by sowing seeds of faith and spreading positivity within the community and beyond. His focus for the future is to remain steadfast in his pursuit of God’s Kingdom.
